Shaw, real name Matthew Samuel Bassi (born 4 May 1988 in Waco, Texas, United States) is an American former pornographic actor and adult model.

Matt grew up in a Mormon household and spent some time as a missionary. After leaving the Church his life pretty much went on a downhill spiral. Matt received a DUI in 2013. He also aspired to be a model in Los Angeles which is likely how he got recruited to do gay porn.  

Matt is one of five brothers, including Jim and Steven, and his father is Richard Bassi. His stepmother is Janet Bassi (nee Blankenship) and he has a step brother Thaddeus. Matt was first married to Heather Bassi (nee Williams) who is now engaged to Jake Danger Blackburn. Matt and Heather have one daughter together, Lily. Matt then remarried Lauren Hyde but that marriage was short lived after Lauren so the extent of Matt's work as Shaw on Sean Cody.
